The present model is the 2nd one I've had, being higher than the original adaptation that got here out. I've used it to fry hen wings, quickly, to do french fries and onion rings, to do other smaller rooster parts, and it works fantastically. There is not any thermostat; you simply plug it in, wait 10 minutes, and the temp is 375. Having this kind of small quantity of grease, it recovers heat more fastly than an electric skillet. I needed something that would really get to a hotter frying temperature, to make my frying quicker and more "healthful"...(healthy frying....is that an oxymoron or what?) Because I don't fry THAT repeatedly, I simply needed one factor simple. I like this fryer since the heat-up time could be very fast, and there could be a lot less splatter then for these who were frying in a pot. When I fry, I usually do your standard fried foods: fries, onion rings, wontons, and so forth. I even have now not tried to do the rest in it yet.
